Dear Listener,
I appreciate you listening to my new podcast.
A little about me? During the 90's God directed me to sell our dream home in Nebraska and move toward becoming an Evangelist and Preacher of the Message of Christ. I went from a hard working machinist cowboy in a small farm community to Church Planter, Church Growth Professional with an Emphasis on dynamic Church Growth and Evangelism teaching people to be encouraged to stay focused on Christ Jesus.
During my Call I attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs where I learned about being "Born Again" and living a Holiness life.
I then completed my BA of Religion, Human Relations from MNU in Olathe KS. We have lots experience in Church Leadership, Church Planting, Church Growth, Bus Ministry, Youth, Teenagers and Church Growth through Volunteerism within the Church Body.
I work a full time service job in the KC Metro and stay encouraged daily by Reading/Listening to the Bible every day. My days at work are not easy, however, being planted in God and prayer daily, I stay encouraged.
We have spent the last 22 years raising our five children and God still has a plan for our life reaching people with God's Message. My cousin who owns a radio station asked me to do some Scripture readings to fill empty spots during broadcasts. After a few times I felt the Lord telling me to start a podcast on Prepping the Soul.
We have watched YouTube videos on Prepping for what's coming soon in the world, however, I feel with direction by the Holy Spirit that we need more attention on Prepping the Soul.

Dear listeners,
Welcome to Prepping the Soul
I am Called by God to do this podcast and it is very difficult due to spiritual warfare to get some of the recordings on the air. Please pray for me as I push through the warfare to make things happen.
My Call by God in 1991 was to go to college and become an Evangelist. A lot of life has gone by and the Call by God to become an Evangelist is still in my heart, however, for now I am Called to do Evangelism through Prepping the Soul Podcast.
Lorrie and I were sitting watching television one evening about two years ago and I told Lorrie that I need to start a podcast on Prepping the Soul. We need to prep our souls more than prepping our gun cabinet and storing years of food which will be no good if too many years go by.
We need to love God with our whole hearts, minds and souls!
Salvation is easy.
Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins.
Invite Jesus to come into you heart.
Ask Jesus to change your heart to become focused on God.
Find a Bible believing church.
Join a small group focused on the Bible.
Pray, Read the Bible daily. Strongly suggest NIV-New International Version OR
NKJV-New King James Version.
During College I loved translation from Greek to English and the NIV in the 1990's was close to the original translation.
